Imitazione is an independent editorial and curatorial platform dedicated to contemporary art. Founded as an Italian art digest, the platform developed through a commitment to slow reading, critical writing, and research-informed engagement with artistic practice across international contexts.

Alongside essays, reflections, and commissioned texts, Imitazione presents curated digital exhibitions conceived as editorial projects. These exhibitions extend curatorial practice into the digital realm, offering authored and contextualised experiences rather than virtual simulations of physical shows.

A key part of the platform’s programme is the presentation of final exhibitions from the Superioritas Award, an international art award originating in Italy. These exhibitions bring together selected artists within a coherent curatorial framework, supported by critical texts and editorial context.

Selected exhibitions are realised through immersive digital formats developed in collaboration with professional designers.
